Pastor Surridge was one of the early camp leaders in my time as a Junior/teen camper in the 1960s. He was a lovely man who had a great relationship with the children attending the camps. I never missed a year. My brother, John Benefield and I (Elizabeth) began packing for camp about March we so loved to go. Definitely the highlight of our year.
